Augusta Street Band

Augusta Street is a Brazilian Bossa Nova, Samba, Funk and Soul band based on the Gold Coast. The band was formed in 2020 - while the world was having a break, they found the time to connect, bringing their ideas together to create a band that would showcase the beauty and versatility of Brazilian music, while using its flavour to spice up some of the world's favourite songs.

Rua Augusta (Augusta Street) is the main artery of São Paulo city’s nightlife scene. It is a place that you can find anything at any time. Food from all over the world, hole-in-the-wall bars, nightclubs thumping from midnight till noon and live music venues - you'll find a carnivalesque atmosphere almost every night of the week.

 

This amazing place, it’s multicultural atmosphere, is the inspiration behind what Augusta Street Band brings to the stage. Their goal is to share with you the joy that comes out of Brazil's most popular alternative street.
